SMS Command to Configure Sino GPS Tracker

Configure Sino GPS Tracker (model: ST-903, ST-904, ST-905, ST-915 and ST-925)

To get the current location of the tracker send this SMS command to the tracker number: 6690000

Command format: 669password. There, 0000 is the GPS tracker factory default password.

To check the present configuration of your GPS tracker, send this SMS: RCONF

You will receive two SMS messages confirming the GPS tracker configuration.

ST-915 – GPS Tracker Model Number

ID – Tracker ID (unique identifier)

PW – tracker password, here, 0000

U1, U2 and U3 – are admin numbers

Mode – GPRS (i.e., online tracking is enabled)

Daily – OFF means,

Geo-Fence: Off (i.e., geo-fence is not enabled)

OVER SPEED – OFF (i.e., over speed alarm is not enabled)

SHAKE ALARM – OFF

SLEEP – ON (i.e., sleep mode is enabled)

APN – internet (i.e, Access Point Name is internet)

UPLOAD TIME – 30s (i.e., the tracker will sends it location to the monitoring platform in every 30 seconds.)

IP- 45.x.x.x. (i.e., online monitoring platform IP address, here it 45.112.204.242)

TIME ZONE – 0.0 (i.e., the factory default time zone is set to GMT/UTC time).

To change factory default password “0000”, send the following SMS command to the tracker number:

Command: 777+New Password+Old password
Sample: 77712340000
1234 is the new password, and the 0000 is the old password.

To change default Time Zone
Command: 896+password+Blank+E/W+HH
Sample: 8960000E00 (default)
E means East, W means west, 00 meantime zone, i.e. UTC/GMT time
Reply: SET OK
0-time zone is 8960000 00

Report / Send location info to the admin number in a defined time every day.
It will send location info to the first control/admin number.
Command: 665+password+HHMM
HH means the hour, it from 00 to 23,
MM means minutes, it from 00 to 59.
Sample: to report location everyday at 8:15 a.m. send SMS command 66500000815
Reply: SET OK

To disable this function, send SMS command: 665+password+OFF (default)
Sample: 6650000OFF
Reply: SET OK

Over-speed Alarm (send Alarm to control numbers)
Command: 122+Blank+XXX
Sample: 1220000 120
Reply: SET OK
The XXX is the speed, from 0 to 999, the unit is KM/H.
If the XXX is 0, it means close the over-speed alarm.

Call mode
Call mode on:
Command: 150+password
Sample: 1500000
Reply: SET OK

Call mode OFF
Command: 151+password
Sample: 1510000
Reply: SET OK
When the call mode on, the alarms will call and send SMS to the control number,
When the call mode off, only send SMS.

To Set APN
Command 1: 803+password+Blank+APN
Sample: 8030000 CMNET
Reply: SET OK

If your APN need user and pass:
Command 2: 803+password+Blank+ APN+Blank+ APN user+Blank+ APN pass
Sample: 8030000 CMNET CMNET CMNET
Reply: SET OK
15. Set the IP and Port
Command: 804+password+Blank+IP+Blank+Port
Sample: 8040000 103.243.182.54 8090
Reply: SET OK

Set the time interval
ACC on time interval (default is 20 seconds)
Command: 805+password+Blank+T
Sample: 8050000 20
Reply: SET OK
T means the time interval, the unit is second,
It from 0 to 18000 seconds,
When T=0 means close GPRS.

To restart

RESTART
The tracker will restart.
